Recently we have had some fun sensory exploration activities. Evie always loves the messy, fun activities and I wanted to try some with Layla! So we have had some super, messy fun with dry baby oatmeal, yogurt with food coloring, and shaving cream (for Evie).
Initially Layla appeared very confused as to why mommy just dumped a bunch of her food on the tray without a bowl or spoon:0)
But it didn't take her long to start investigating!
I had showed Evie how you could use your finger to draw different letters, shapes, etc. At one point Layla drug her fingers through the oatmeal and I heard Evie announce, "Yook mama, Yay-yuh did an E all by herself!" Now there's one for the baby book....drew a letter E all by herself at 7 months...lol...Just made my day!!!!!
