We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Re-living the classroom days!

Over the last few weeks I have had so much fun doing activities with Evie that I used to do in my preschool classroom!  I absolutely LOVE watching her imagination grow!  And of course I love having the opportunity to be a kid again myself!

Now let me preface this with the fact these are not directly my ideas!  they are wonderful ideas passed on to me from my former co-workers.  And ones I loved doing so much in my classroom!

Let's go driving in our car.........

We had fun driving in our car....a.k.a. chairs pushed together and a plate for a steering wheel.  Notice the babies are appropriate facing the back.......even though they are not in a car seat:0)  And I'm not sure what to say about the fact Evie told her babies, "Babies lets get in.  We have to hurry. We gonna be late." Hmmmm......I'm sure that has NEVER been said to her...lol!

When I asked her where we were driving, she came up with the idea of Little Gym.  (Okay so not that creative of an idea since we had just gone to little gym that morning, but I love how she is incorporating it into her play).

So I set forth to help her make our "little gym"

Apparently clothing is optional at our Little Gym:0)
Balance Beam.........

......and Swinging on the Bar!

Even daddy gets roped into the fun one day when he got home from work:0)  But he obviously is not worried about holding a baby in his lap while driving......and his little mini-me Evie feels she needs to do the same:0)
