We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Carving Pumpkins!

Ready to carve the pumpkins!!!!

Mike and I decided we wanted to make an annual tradition of carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds before Halloween.

Mommy getting it started!

Big helper:)

What's inside?  (Even Kavi wants to know!)

Layla checking it out!

Daddy scooping out the pumpkin pulp!  (Guess I should have called it gunk or gook like so many others as pumpkin pulp apparently sounded a little too much like pumpkin poop.  I won't mention who changed it to "pumpkin poop")

Layla was so fascinated by it all!

Evie teaching Layla to pick out the seeds!

Digging in!

Another "just me and my girls" pose:0)

Ready to wash the seeds before roasting!

 The finished products!
