After carving our big pumpkins, we thought it would be fun to paint our little pumpkins. So last Saturday morning I decided to throw out some paints and paintbrushes...and add a little glitter too! The girls had fun and they both did a great job painting their pumpkins!
Evie of course wanted some pink paint on hers...well I looked through our paint stash and didn't find any pink left so I told her, I'm so sorry I don't have any pink in here. She outsmarted me and said, "Mommy we can just mix the red and white together to make some pink." Ummm...yeah, good thing I taught her that a little while ago when painting some pigs...and then proceeded to forget...lol! Glad she learned from that earlier lesson, because mommy obviously didn't!
Layla in deep concentration!
She loves to paint...and yes, she did this all herself!
Glitter Time!!!!
Evie's finished product! I'm loving how well she did!
All fo the finished products! The one in the back that is all purple is one Evie did with just glitter. She said she wanted to make it purple since it was "Wildcat Saturday"....love her:) (and then she inspired me to make the K-State powercat on one too)
....and yes, I will be finding glitter for weeks....actually months...in our house :)
