We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

The stockings WERE hung........

Well after ten days in Kansas, I think it is taking me ten days to get caught up with everything in Georgia!  I had a few blog posts I started but didn't finish, so I thought since I had put the effort into them in the beginning I may as well finish......late or not!  So I am going to back track just a bit while trying to catch up on life!

We had a wonderful time decorating our new home in Georgia this year for Christmas.  It was amazing how well all of our decorations fit so perfectly in our new home!  And it was especially exciting this year because Evie is at the age she is really beginning to understand the excitement of the holidays!  Which meant I had a fabulous helper too!

Daddy had a really great helper putting up the lights outside!

Apparently it is really hard work!

I had the best tree decorator too!

The girls playing near our traditional family tree!

The finished product all it up!

No house is complete with only one tree, right?  We put a coca-cola theme tree in our dining room near the front window!

.....and our K-State theme tree went upstairs overlooking the main entryway!

I bet you can't guess who put these ornaments on the tree:0)......she told me "They needed to be with their mommy:)

Near our front door!

Our nativity!  Evie enjoyed learning about baby Jesus' birthday and helping put the nativity together!

The girls' nativity!  They loved playing with it!

Four stocking hung on the fireplace this year!!!!

Our way of having a white Christmas in Georgia!

My little explorer loved investigating the tree!

.....and Evie decided her princesses needed a tree in their castle as well.  When she told me they needed ornaments I quickly grabbed some stickers for her and *poof* the princesses had their very own Christmas tree:)

Our home is now complete with four decorated Christmas trees!  Can't wait for Santa to arrive!
