We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

All About Daddy!

I thought I'd also take a little time to brag on "daddy" and how proud we are of him.  First of all, he is such a wonderful, hands on dad.  The girls both look so forward to him walking in the door after a work day and spending time with him on the weekends too.  Evie is a big daddy's girl and loves to snuggle with him and read books and say prayers before bed!  I love watching the girls playing with him!

For years and years he has talked about going back to school to get his MBA and he is finally making his dream come true!  This January he started the weekend MBA program through Emory University here in Atlanta.  We are so happy for him and couldn't be more proud that he is working on this degree and one of the top MBA programs.  It seems like such a wonderful program and they make many attempts to include family life into the program.  It will be a busy 15 months for us....well, mostly for him, but I know it will go by so quickly!

Typical evening once Mike walks in the door from work!  Everyone, including Kavi can't wait to spend time with him!

Mike has been waking up at 4:00 every morning to study prior to going to work.  There must have been some new "energy" in the house or something when this began earlier in january because the girls seemed to be waking up earlier also.  Sometimes it was Mike up at 4, Layla at 4:30, and Evie by 5:00.  Fortunately I was usually able to get the girls to go back to sleep by just letting them get in bed with me.  So while poor daddy studied, his girls all slept:)

We love you daddy and are so lucky to have you in our lives!!!!!
