Holidays for us always mean spending time with family.....and by family I mean a lot of family:0) We are so blessed to have so much extended family and we wouldn't have it any other way!
My parents are having some remodeling done on their house so they have been living with my sister. Since it was not finished by Christmas we all got to stay with my sister.....my parents, older sister and her family of four, our family of four, and my brother and his girlfriend together under one roof for 10 days!!!! And we couldn't have had a better time!
We were lucky enough to be treated to a fabulous Thai meal cooked by my brother's girlfriend while we were there:) Thanks Nee!
We made a visit to see my grandparents, the girls' great grandpa and grandma Nordhus. They loved playing with their dog Frankie:)
And who can say no to one of great grandma's homemade sugar cookies!
It's tradition every year at our Burdiek Christmat (my mom's side of the family) to take family photos at our Christmas gathering. Here is my mom's growing family:0)
And the traditional Burdiek grandchildren photo.....minus about 10 or so. I'm coming to grips with the fact that as I get older I now move closer to the front (a.k.a) shorter row! So much for being the 5th oldest!
And the great grandkids who were present......minus about 10 or so as well!
On my dad's side of the family I was blessed to spend the holiday with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, many cousins and their children as well.....my grandma said there were 95 of us who were able to attend!
And this is the wonderful couple who have made it all possible! Such an inspiration!
Time to eat!
It looks like my girls have been to one too many holiday gatherings:0) I'm starting to see a trend with these last few blog posts! Thanks goodness for family and safe travels for the holidays!
