We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Busy little Bundle

It's hard to believe we are already almost 21 weeks in our pregnancy!  Time has really flown with everything we've had going on lately.  We had our 20 week anatomy ultrasound today and we continue to be blessed with a healthy, growing baby:0)  One of the things I find fun about this ultrasound is to get a peek at the baby and see how she is positioned.  I can get somewhat of an idea based on where I've been feeling the movements but it's always fun to see if that really is the case.

With Evie she seemed to enjoy being snuggled up with her head low into the wall of the uterus.  I think she started this early on and didn't really move much since I almost always felt her kicking in the same place (up by my ribs).  And every time we tried to do an ultrasound she was always sound asleep and would barely move even when the ultrasound tech. really pushed against her.  Well......prior to this ultrasound I told Mike I was curious about this baby because sometimes I feel like she is practically doing somersaults inside.  I tend to feel her shifting positions more than I do kicking.

Well......in the middle of the ultrasound the tech. says, "If this is any indication of how this baby is going to be when she is out you're in trouble."  Basically because she did not stop moving the entire time.  She had her hands by her face then sucking on her fingers then at her side, then stretched her legs out, then curled them up, then turned around....and again and again and again!   We could be in for a very busy spring!  At least it's during the day and not during the night!
