We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

My favorite things!

Oprah has her favorite things, so we all should, right?  Well.....not sure it would be as exciting to receive some of Evie's favorite things as gifts but it is so cute to see them!  She is growing every day and we are enjoying being able to see more of her personality!

Most kids get attached to blankets, stuffed animals, or pacifiers.  Not Evie.....she is attached to her bead necklaces....lol!    And right now her favorite things are necklaces, bracelets, and her ruby red slippers from her Halloween Dorothy costume.  She'll find necklaces or beads and wear them the entire day.  Sometimes she'll even find some ribbon or string and try to use it as a necklace or any round object and use it as a bracelet.  And I've even seen her sharing her necklaces with her baby:0)

She also just LOVES her ruby slippers!  The minute she sees them she brings them to us saying, "on, on, on" the entire time!  It doesn't matter if we are staying in, going out, or even if she has on her pajamas.  She just loves to wear them!  I didn't think we would have our first conflict over what she was wearing to the grocery store at 16 months old, but low and behold.....we went in the ruby slippers:0)

Her ruby red slippers......why not wear them with pajamas!

........and of course add some beads to complete the outfit!

it's just not the same bath without the beads:0)

every girl needs a purse.....and some beads!

anything can be a bracelet......even the plastic hole from the golf set:0)
