In mid-October we found out we are going to be re-locating to Atlanta! Mike has been offered a position at the headquarters office in Atlanta and we couldn't be more proud of him! This opportunity of course bring such mixed emotions for me as it is very hard to say good-bye to so many wonderful friends and their children, to Evie's wonderful school she attends, to our home, to my current place of employment, just to name a few. But I also know this is an exciting new chapter for our family!
Initially I felt very strongly about waiting until after the baby arrives. I feel very nervous about leaving my current Ob-Gyn whom I adore! She has held my hand through many tears over the last 12 years, she has been there for me while trying to conceive, while being put on bedrest for pre-eclampsia, inducing me, and eventually resulting in her performing my c-section. I couldn't imagine finding anyone to replace her!
But with Mike's new position he really needs to be in Atlanta in January. And it is best for our family if we all go together at that time! So these last few weeks have been a completely crazy adventure for us with some tears, some stress.......but best of all some laughter too!
