We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Trunk or Treat

This year we went to the Trunk or Treat even hosted by our church.  Since Evie goes to preschool at our church the kids had been talking about trunk or treat and she was very excited about the event.

Some friends of ours gave Stella this adorable Snow White onesie before she was born.  I thought it would be the perfect attire for her Halloween costume!  She was so cute!!!

Over a month ago, Evie began telling us she wanted to be the tooth fairy for Halloween.  I honestly have no idea where she got the idea.  But she asked me if I could make tooth wand, tooth bag, and some tooth wings!  And she never once changed her mind about being the tooth fairy!

I took Layla to look at several costumes at Target, but she decided she want this ladybug costume we already had at home!  It fit our "Layla bug" perfectly!

Several months ago I saw this Popcorn Bjorn idea on Pinterest.  It wasn't my idea but it was my craftiness!  I used felt to make a "popcorn bag" that attached to the Bjorn.  Then I sewed some popcorn to an infant hat for Stella to wear!  It was definitely a hit while we were out and about!

Father Brian had a "recycloween" theme with recycled goods!

another car had a little mermaid theme, with King Triton and Ursula!

This bakery theme was my favorite!

The girls had fun playing several games inside.

And Evie was excited to find a friend from her preschool class!

It was really a joy to watch Evie get so excited about trick or treating!  We had a wonderful evening!
