We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Corn on the Cobb

The weekend before Halloween we went to a local "pumpkin patch" (aka, pre-picked pumpkins arranged neatly on the ground!)  It was called Corn on the Cobb...which I thought was very clever because it was in Cobb County (where we live as well).  I also loved that it was so close to where we live.

We went on a Sunday after church and got there right before it opened.  It was perfect timing because it wasn't crowded at all when we arrived (but very crowded as we were leaving!)  There were a variety of activities for the girls and they seemed to really enjoy themselves.  I tried to capture some photos of all the fun!

Kids Zipline

"Horse races"....although this ended up as a solo trot since there weren't any other kids nearby and Layla decided she didn't want to do it!

Pump Duck Races!  This was a big hit for Layla!  She had fun pumping the water to make the rubber duck go to the other side!

The slide!  Evie had so much fun and I was proud of her being so independent with trying it out.  (You never know if my girlie, city girls are going to end up whining about the hay, the tunnel, etc...ha!)  Layla wasn't too sure but did agree to go with mommy a few times.  And it's just a good thing I'm the photographer in the family....didn't really want any photos of me coming down that slide in a dress....thankfully I was wearing tights...but I'm sure it didn't look too graceful!

A popcorn maze!  Evie wanted to try it by herself after going through with daddy and Layla the first time!

Pumpkin sling shot....which was harder than it appeared for the girls....so it was followed by a well deserved popcorn break!

And of course we had to have some pictures in the pumpkin patch!

It's always a Sunday Funday when we get to do activities like this with daddy!
