We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Christmas Crafts!

The girls and I have been busy with with several different Christmas crafts!  We love doing so many activities with glue, paint, markers, scissors, etc.  I love to watch them create and explore.

When I was in the classroom, I loved making some "snow paint."  Basically mix some shaving cream and glue (I poured both in a bowl and let the girls stir each of theirs with a spoon.)  When it dries it is puffy, but it doesn't disintegrate like shaving cream alone since it has the glue with it.  I let the girls paint it on the paper, then added snowman parts and some glitter!

Since we've talked a lot about the true meaning of Christmas we created a manger scene from an idea I got off Pinterest.

I continue to be amazed about how observant and independent Layla is.  She watches Evie so closely and tries hard to do it all on her own!

Evie decided we needed the entire manger so she put me to work making more felt people and animals!
