We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Gaining a Sister:0)

In less than a month I will be gaining another sister, as my brother and his fiance are getting married at the end of September!  Over labor day weekend my sister, Shelly and I hosted a bridal shower for our soon to be sister-in-law, Nee, in Kansas!

We decided to have a brunch shower!  It was fun planning the food.  We had a yogurt bar with some vanilla yogurt, granola, and several fruit toppings for our guests to choose.

Muffins on a stick:)  Just a fun way to display them!

We wanted to something special for Nee and incorporate some Thai dishes in our menu as well.  So we made some Thai Omelets and Mango Sweet Rice.  I thought it turned out good and so did many of our guests....I'm not sure if they turned out how they should have, but at least they were good:0)....afterall, we were two Kansas girls trying to make some Thai dishes:)

We also decided to have a Mimosa Bar.  We had orange, cranberry, and grapefruit juices to mix with the champagne and some fruits to be added as well!

We played a few fun games, including he said/she said where the guests had to guess if Jeremy or Nee said each statement and a match the celebrity couples.

We put together some coloring books for the kids who would be at the party!

It was such a wonderful morning and celebration!  I can't thank all my aunts and cousins who were able to attend the shower and help us honor Nee!

My mom and Nee!

Nee and her sweet friend, Deer, who came with her from Dallas!  So glad she was able to make it:)

The girls:0).....So Blessed!!!  Looking forward to a wonderful day in September as well!
