Snails!

This morning the girls and I were enjoying this gorgeous weather and playing in our driveway.  Evie found a small snail on our driveway and we had fun talking about it.  The snail was inside it's shell and not moving so she thought it might be sleeping.

After we went inside, Evie wanted to write about it in her "journal."  (We have been keeping a journal of things we see or do during the day).

The snail was obviously something that really interested her because she was sure to tell daddy about it after he got home from work.  And after dinner she asked if she could go back outside to see if it was still on the driveway.

Well the snail was no longer on the driveway, but much to her delight she found "three snail friends" on our front sidewalk.  And one was out of it's shell and moving.  She was very excited:)

Sometimes it's just the little things in life that can make your entire day!
