We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Tangled!

Well, like most toddler girls, Evie is currently infatuated with princesses.  She especially loves Rapunzel and almost daily is either wearing her Rapunzel dress-up clothes or her purple princess dress to be like Rapunzel.  She loves to pretend the glider on our swing set is Maximus (the horse) and she climbs to the top of her playhouse and pretends to look for Flynn Rider!  Over the last week she has started asking me to put a pony tail in her hair so she can hang some bead necklaces on it to make some long "Rapunzel" hair.  While I loved her imagination with this, I felt a little guilty that two "tangled" bead necklaces were her "hair."  And honestly I was getting a little tired of continually trying to "reattach" the hair when it fell!

So we headed out to Hobby Lobby today in search of material to make our own Rapunzel hair!  As we left the store with some yellow yarn, artificial flowers, and fabric glue in hand, Evie couldn't wait to make her new hair!!!!!

She "patiently" waited for me to braid the yarn.....I should have taken a photo of the mess she had made of yarn I had given her while she was waiting:0)  Then when it was time to attach the flowers, she suggested we use her table in the toy room.  Then she got a towel to cover it so we wouldn't make a mess on the table:0)

Ready to get started!

Almost finished!

Ta-Da!  And we now have Rapunzel hair!

I honestly think she wore it until it was time to put on her pajamas!

At one point I was tidying the kitchen and noticed her "dancing" in the mirror in our toy room.  I tried to catch her on video before she noticed.  Needless to say, I think she likes her new Rapunzel hair!
