We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Pool Time!

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and were very excited to spend so much time with daddy!  (The extra day gave him extra time for studying and us!)  We went to a wonderful birthday party for Evie's friend Ryan, enjoyed some pool time, and took a short drive to Helen, GA.

We started off the weekend by spending a little time in the pool in our subdivision.  One of the pools is just a short walk from our house so we loaded up the girls in the stroller and headed to the pool.  Layla fell asleep on the way there and took a short nap.  The water was still a little cool so it took Evie a bit to get comfortable.


And once Layla woke up and touched the water she didn't want anything to do with it.  This really surprised me because she loves to play in the water and is very much our adventurer.  I think it was probably a combination of the water being a bit cool and getting woken up from a short nap.  I'm sure she'll get used to it as the summer goes on!



Well at least she thought she was "Big Stuff" at the pool!
