We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

The Art Barn

At the beginning of May we went with some friends to a cute little place called The Art Barn.  They have several organized activities including scheduled "Play Dates" that you can sign up for.  Since it is outdoors I thought it would be best to wait until May so we would have good weather.  Little did I know it would only be in the upper 50's, overcast, with some light rain:(  So we put on sweaters and ended up having a fun morning!

Checking out the chickens!  The girls did get a little closer than they did at Uncle Don's Farm in Kansas...but weren't too fond of the crowing rooster walking around near the barn!

Had to get a picture of this horse and Coca-Cola sign for daddy :)

Evie usually isn't too fond of brushing the animals but she seemed to fall in love with this little pony named Strawberry.

"Hayride" with sweet friends.

After the hay ride they got to do an Art Activity....here they are waiting for their instructions:)

Ready to paint!

Evie's "chicken" in the grass and yellow flowers:)

 The Artwork!

Petting one of the baby chickens!

Checking out the tractor!

Miss Big Stuff!

Bunnies (and Kitties) are always a hit with Evie!

We did decide to brave the cooler weather and chance of rain to get in our quick picnic!  Fortunately the rain held off and we were able to eat before heading home!

We had a fun morning with friends and hope to go back again some time when the weather is a little better!
