We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

St. Patrick's Day

On St. Patrick's day mommy got a girls day.....this time a grown-up girls day with my cousin Sheri!  I think it was the first time in the two years we have been in Atlanta that she and I got some time to ourselves!  It was wonderful!  We had brunch at a yummy restaurant, West Egg followed by some shopping at IKEA and a few other stores!  I really enjoyed my morning and afternoon with her!

Before I left I made Mike and the girls a little festive breakfast of shamrock and gold coin pancakes and scrambled eggs!

I think Mike and the girls had a great time and got a chance to skype Grandma Patty to sing Happy Birthday to her!  (Grandma Patty's bday starts our 2 week marathon of five (immediate) family birthdays in two weeks!)

That evening we took the girls to the Smyrna Village area for their St. Patrick's day festival.  Mike snapped a few photos of the girls on his phone.  This is the only proof I have they were actually wearing green!

....and Layla with her extra large milk!  (I promise I asked for a kids' size)

Evie thought she should take a photo of Mike and I!  It looks like Mike and I thought you were supposed to wear gray and not green on this day!  I did have on a pair of green pants:)  (Ummmm, Mike did not..ha!)

Hope everyone had a fun St. Patrick's Day!
