We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Always My Little Princess!

Evie is definitely our little princess!  Every morning when she wakes up the first thing she asks is, "Mommy, where are we going today?"  If my response is staying at home she immediately runs off to find a princess dress to wear!  Sometimes I wonder why she even has so many other clothes in her closet:)

She also has quite the imagination and I frequently find her playing with and talking to her little princess figurines!

You might also notice a slight difference in Rapunzel's hair!  Well, when putting away her birthday decorations she found this long braid I had used as a centerpiece on the table.  She decided this needed to be her Rapunzel hair because it was longer and she could "let down her hair" from her "princess tower" (aka the top of her playset).

I also love finding her princesses at the end of the day or after she has been playing with them.  This picture made me wonder if Flynn Rider was "The Bachelor"

I'm wondering what Mother Gothel is saying to the king here:0)

.................and what is being said between these two Maximus horses:0)

After I got tired of attaching the "new" via a hair clip and it falling out, we decided to attach it to her old Rapunzel hair.  Who knew Rapunzel really had extensions:)  ha!

Tea party with little sis and her babies!

After the tea party the babies had to go outside too:0)

Then daddy gets a wonderful princess greeting when he arrives home from work!

The other night I was cooking in the kitchen when I heard Evie say, "Mommy I need some help.  I'm having a little trouble getting the dress on this princess."  Thinking she was talking about one of her small Rapunzel dolls, you can imagine my surprise when I walked around the corner to find this......

....and then the day she told me, "Mommy I need your help, Maximus (the horse's name in the movie Tangled) has my hair" hmmmmm.....I wonder how Maximus got the hair!

Sometimes a princess needs her beauty sleep!

Last Saturday we had a busy morning with her last ballet class and a princess birthday party for one of her sweet friends.  When we got home I went to put Layla down for her nap and asked Evie to lie on our bed for some "quiet time."  When I went to check in her I found her sound asleep with her ballet shoes and princess party favors lined up beside her:0)

"She is our princess we must confess,
she laughs and plays and makes a mess.
She giggles a lot and tickles us pink,
she can make us laugh in a single blink.
She runs and sings and twirls around,
she loves any princess that can be found.
She is our princess we have confessed,
We know we are extremely blessed."
