Having fun playing with Layla's farm set!
While the girls were napping Jake had some fun stacking the clear, tinted glasses (sounds so much better than shot glasses, right?) in the sun
His creative collection!
We also made some "eye spy" bottles. I had a bunch of random small items for them to put in the empty water bottles. We took a picture of all the items first, then put them in the bottle with rice. We printed the picture of the objects so they could remember what they needed to find. Then shake the bottle, find the objects, and have fun!!!
Such concentration!
Jake with his printed picture looking for his objects!
We also had fun making play-doh!
Jake adding just the right amount of food coloring to get the color he wanted! Of course I let them choose which color they wanted. Evie chose pink and Jake wanted red and blue. Hmmmmm....because it was his choice I let him have the red and blue in this Wildcat house:0) At first he wanted to put them in the same bowl....I wouldn't have minded as this would have turned purple....but decided it was best to explain to him what would happen:0)
The "tape road" was a big hit too!
......and meet the "Destroyer" (as nicknamed by Jake...LOL!) She may be petite and small in size but she was able to destroy any tower, any road, and building in less than 5 seconds!
In case you saw the kids with name tags in any of the pictures above and are wondering....No, I did not put name tags on them at the house...LOL. We went to story time one morning so they got a name tag there. After story time we had a wonderful picnic lunch and got to watch the ducks for a while too!
They loved doing everything together! Including brushing their teeth. I love how they are sharing the tiny stool:0)
Jake left us a sweet message on the chalkboard in the toy room! It just made my day! Thank you for such a wonderful three days Jake! The girls had so much fun!
