We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Rainy Day Weekend Crafting

Since today was one of those days with off and on showers and just a dreary day it was a perfect day to get some projects complete.  Mike and I started off by attempting to organize our storage items in the basement......along with our fabulous helpers, Evie and Kavi:0).   Through intermittent periods of play I feel we did manage to get a lot accomplished.

I also was able to make some time for completing a few craft projects I had started.  This included a couple of Easter pillowcase dresses, a few applique onesies, and some new flower headband projects.  I thought I'd share my results from today!

These are one of my styles of satin flower headbands and I had so much fun making them!  Can't wait to try them out on our baby girl #2!

These are my new felt flower projects.  They are super easy and super fun to make!  Evie, seemed to be a fan and I wish I would have had a camera handy when she tried one on!  It was after her nap and her hair was a mess....I really just wanted to see if the size fit okay.....she looked more like a hippy the way I put it on her, but she didn't seemed to mind!

A few bunny applique onesies!

,.......and couldn't resist adding a little ruffle butt to one of them as well!

Evie's Easter pillowcase dress.....she was very excited to see all the "hoppies" on the dress and wanted to put it on over her clothes!

We are excited to spend Easter with two little girls this year!

another felt flower addition......on a crochet headband!

and another Easter pillowcase dress to go with it!

It's so fun to dust off the sewing machine and start in with some of my projects again!
