We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

My Favorite Room!

Okay so maybe I'm a kid at heart......but my favorite room in our new house is the toy room:0)  Really it is more than just me being a kid at heart but I love that there is a room for Evie's toys and for her to play!  I can also partially see the room from the kitchen and the living room and can definitely hear her from both of those rooms....which helps if I am trying to cook or do something in the kitchen.

We really have had a lot of fun playing in this room.  We also had one of Mike's coworkers, wife and two kids over for dinner on Saturday night.  We ate in the formal dining room and after dinner the kids were able to play in the toy room and the adults were able to visit longer!

I had fun decorating it.....since it's one of the first rooms you see when you enter the front door and because it's very open I wanted it to have an organized yet kid friendly feel.  ........okay, who am I kidding....it gave me an avenue to get out my OCD organization tendencies and coordination of furniture!
