We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Santa Came Early....

...and mommy's blog post about it came late..ha!  We had a wonderful holiday season full of travel and family.  So needless to say it's taking me a bit to get caught up on life...including my blog!

We were going to be visiting family again this year on Christmas so we thought maybe Santa could visit our house early....maybe it would help him out on Christmas day as well:)  And sure enough the night before we were going to leave we went to pick up a pizza and when we got home Santa had been to our house...ate the cookies we left, wrote us a letter, left some presents, and took our elf Paula back to the North Pole with him.

We arrived home to find presents by the fireplace and stockings full of goodies:)

Here's Mike reading the letter from Santa to the girls!

 I loved Evie's reaction:)

Checking out the goodies in their stockings!

Evie loved her new Rudolf and Clarice!

Layla was sure there was more in her stocking!

And she was right!  Her new "merdaid" (mermaid) cup!

Santa also brought each of the girls an ornament for the tree.  Layla became a pro at putting ornaments on this year and immediately headed to the tree to hang it!

Layla's Rapunzel with pascal

 Evie's Rapunzel and Eugene!

The girls also got a basketball goal and fisher price princess castle.  Layla got a wooden train set and Evie got a keyboard with microphone.

It was a wonderful start to our Christmas season!
