Well, the last couple days here have been some dreary, rainy days as we are getting the remnants of tropical depression Lee. (And to all my Houston friends....I am definitely praying for rain to come your way and praying for everyone's safety from all the fires:( Well, since it was just rain without thunder and lightning, I thought it would be a fun opportunity to go play in the rain.
So I got out Evie's raincoat, hat, and rain boots.....we finally got all dressed, but once she stood up and started to walk in the boots we quickly realized she certainly has gone through a growth spurt and the boots no longer fit. I knew I had another pair up in her closet that would be too big but decided to try them anyway. She had to walk slow and carefully in them, but she seemed okay with it and was ready to venture outside. And wouldn't you know by the time we finally got outside......
.............it was NO LONGER raining!
......so she decided to share her hat with her sister......
...and I must say she looked pretty adorable:0)
Then we realized we could "catch" a little water that was dripping from the gutter!
after that fun wore off.....she decided to lose the boots!
.....and get out the bubbles instead!
.....and who needs a raincoat if it isn't raining.....oh, well....we had a lot of fun playing with bubbles!
