We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Creative learning, cooking, and play!

Well, one of the "pins" I saw on pinterest involved using household cooking tongs for picking up objects.  What a great way for building fine motor skills, especially for cutting.  So I decided to put it to the test....and it was a hit!  Evie loved picking up her blocks and putting them in a bowl..........and even better.....it was fun to put the blocks in the box when cleaning up!

She also thinks she's big stuff counting to 10 in spanish too:0)

Recently I've had new obsessions with baking different type of muffins and making homemade popsicles!   Lucky for me I have the best cooking assistant and the best popsicle eater too:0)

One of Evie's current favorite toys are her fisher price Little People and some small plastic puppies.  It is so cute to see her imagination and play!  The other day I heard her telling them "quiet at church get a lollipop!"  LOL!  It's so funny to know what goes on in her little mind.  (And yes, I bribe my child to use a quiet voice at church:)   She has the fisher price bus and SUV but didn't have a house for them.  We also happened to buy a new box of wipes the other day.........soooo, with some scissors and a little paint = a perfect house for her people and animals!
