We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Colors! Colors! Colors!

In an attempt to fulfill my preschool classroom memories, I pulled out the primary color paints, some paper, and of course the wonderful book Mouse Paint!  This was also one of my mommy ways of expanding Evie's knowledge of colors (a.k.a, beyond pink, blue, and red).

After reading the book Mouse Paint, we painted each of our hands a different primary color, then rubbed them together until we made our "new" color.  Evie enjoyed the book and mixing the paints, mommy enjoyed watching her learn, and we BOTH enjoyed the mess we created!

...and they mixed and they stirred, UNTIL......

PURPLE!  Red and Blue make Purple!

Orange!

These big brown eyes tell it all.......mommy..just wait until I try standing on that chair like you are showing me right now......but the photo op was so worth it:0)
