We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I had a wonderful valentine's day this year!   I really enjoyed spending an evening at home with my two favorite valentine's!

I enjoyed watching Evie create her own valentine cards this year!  (Now if only mommy was better about getting them in the mail on time:(

working on more valentine's!

We had a candlelit dinner to celebrate the special day.  I also made spaghetti, since this is one of Evie's favorite foods!  Here are my two valentine's waiting to eat:0)

finished with dinner....I think the smile on her face shows how much she enjoyed it!

Love my little spaghetti-faced valentine!

I also decided to make a special treat.....and got out the fondue pot.  I made a chocolate fondue and we had bananas and strawberries for dipping.  I decided it was a special occasion so we'd let Evie try some.  She must take after mommy because she really didn't care for the chocolate......(mommy usually isn't a big sweets person, except for when she is pregnant with these girls!)  But Evie loved using the fondue pick to get some bananas and strawberries!

finishing dessert!

After bathtime she opened her present from mommy and daddy!

a pink and red puppy....she actually had seen it at a store we were in and carried it around the whole store so we decided it would be a perfect valentine's gift.....after we had bought it I saw on the tag it was actually a webkinz dog......not sure she would quite understand that part of it!  But she seems to love the dog and wanted to sleep with it tonight!

......and some new valentine books to read at bedtime!

I hope all of your valentine's day was filled with as many smiles as mine!
