Kansas!

I've been a little behind on my blog during this moving process so I thought I'd take this opportunity to back track a bit and get caught up on our exciting adventures over the last month!  Mike flew to Atlanta to close on our new house on Dec. 27th.  We had decided it was best for Evie and I to stay put in Kansas at my parents for a while.  This would allow time for the wood floors to get put in at the house, the fence to be built, and some cleaning.  Also, Mike was going to have to travel to Houston for his year end close with his former role at Coca-cola.

We had a great time with my family and getting to spend so much time with cousin, Dalton.  But Evie and I both missed daddy and were so excited to see him again after a couple of weeks apart!  My dad drove with Evie and I to Atlanta while Mike and Kavi drove from Houston to Atlanta.  We stayed with my cousin Sheri on Friday night as the wood floors were still drying and our furniture wasn't going to be delivered until Monday.  We are so lucky to have Sheri, Chris, and Jake (our Godson) within an hour of us!  they have been such incredible help!
