We are a simple family of four. We try to make the most out of this journey called life. My husband was born in a small town in New Mexico and I in a small town in Kansas, yet we met in Houston and began our lives together there. After five years of marriage we relocated to Atlanta. We have three beautiful daughters and a crazy black lab! We may take ourselves on some crazy adventures at times but we know we have our faith, our love for each other, and our family that will get us through anything!

Sleigh bells ring.......

.....last weekend we took the girls for their first horse drawn carriage ride.  It went through Piedmont Park, a beautiful park near downtown Atlanta.   From what I had read it sounded as if there were Christmas lights in the park we would see as we went around the park.  So initially I was a little disappointed when I realized there weren't any.  However in the middle of the ride, Evie suddenly exclaimed with excitement, "This is so fun!"   Ahhhh......never mind about there not being any special lights......that expressions and joy made it what it should be!   So there we went through the park listening to the horse feet go clip clop, singing jingle bells, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and teaching Evie a few new Christmas carols!

All bundled up and ready to go!

We waited for a few minutes for a carriage to arrive.....Evie was so excited, but when it got closer and she saw how big the horse was she wasn't so sure......glad she enjoyed it!
